One of the farm cats wandered into the area in the yard that the chickens claim and this old hen was telling her she needed to move along.
The baby kids are so excited to get out in the sun and go running out of the barn into the sun.
The little red dogs are loving having the warm sun outside to lay in again. Doodle has been going on lots of walks and just enjoying the spring that is trying to arrive.
The geese love swimming in the creek. I think Alexander, the white one, swims like a swan but on land he runs like a bumbling fool, screaming his head off.
The goats love to stick their heads through the fence, usually to get the grass on the other side. The grass is always greener there, right. Then they can't get their heads out and are stuck. This one was really stupid because the fence was just a piece of fence around a tree.
We have some more new babies on the farm. Our baby chicks have arrived by parcel post and are doing well. They are little round puff balls that will hopefully all grow into nice big chickens to lay lots of eggs.
Our friend Harlene came for a weekend visit at the farm. We all had a wonderful time walking the labyrinth, soaking in the hot tub, touring the farm and playing with all the animals.
We ended up keeping 4 of the fish we caught for dinner. This is 2 that I caught. We had a delicious dinner.
Jay had a good day fishing also. He caught 5. He kept the minnows on the hooks. I could do the worms but not the minnows. We caught most of our fish on the worms.
I went to visit my brother in Louisville and we went to his lake house on Rough River. I decided to try some fishing, got my license and tried my luck. My luck was good I caught 6.
