This Mom seems to have a panic look on her face, like which of these are my kids? Can you imagine coming home and finding this many kids when you left 2?
The goat kids are so cute!! They are so excited about life, eating, sleeping and just bouncing around and playing with each other. They bounce around and play and then curl up for a nap in a pile.
Deann moves move hay over for the goats. This is one of the jobs that the tractor sure does help. Will this snow and ice never end, this is KY not Minnesota!!
Donna moved the car and that left a clear spot and the chickens have lived in it for days. For a few days it was the only spot not covered with snow and ice. They have days they have just decided to not lay eggs and they hang out in the chicken house a lot. They like me are ready for this snow and ice to melt and go away.
I finally got to go see the baby goats. I haven't been able to get off the hill to go play with them. They are so cute and cuddly. I could just sit down in the pen with them and watch them for hours. They are so busy learning about life and playing with each other.

It's Christmas eve and the stocking are hung, the tree glows softly with colored lights, all the ornaments filled with memories are hung and looks as if Santa has already dropped off the gifts. We are ready! Merry Christmas to everyone.
We are expecting more snow for Christmas on top of the 10 inches we had got this week. The last 2 inches outlined every branch of the trees and put a fresh white coat on everything. The birdhouse is empty, its residents have gone south which is what we should do. They have the right idea!
I caught Mattie in a yawn but it came out looking like she has reached her limit with this weather and all the animals coming and going in the house disturbing her. She expresses my sentiments exactly. It's time for it to melt and go away and give us a break.
Two more inches of snow last night. I am keeping warm with a fire in the fireplace. Since I can't get off the hill I can just sit in front of the fireplace and read. How I wish! All I get done is let dogs and cats out, fill the bird feeders, and let the dogs and cats back in. County life is a challenge.
