I did this display of my pen and ink drawings on greeting cards titled "For The Love Of Old Barns" for the Cincinnati Art Guild showing last month. I am pleased with how it turned out. I have been doing greeting card of pictures of old barns I find or pictures I make of barns around here for my own personal use. I found it's something I really love to do.

Donna and Deann are on the road headed to Nebraska for the memorial service for Deann's Mom. They are looking forward to spending time with Deann's family. They have been driving through storms since they left home. Donna sent this photo when they were in St. Louis.

After trying to figure out what to do and when to do it, knowing I needed a newer car I finally decided to get one. Thanks to Deann for all her figuring and haggling I got what I think is a really good deal. I picked it up on Wednesday and have been trying to figure out all the buttons, levers and the "to do" and the "not to do".  With the newer autos you have to be Einstein to be able to figure it all out. I do love the car!

I brought home a paper bag from Indiana and put it down for the cat's to play with. Normally Scribble takes it over and sleeps, etc. in it but this time Cinderpelt decided she wanted it and she has lived in it for almost a week. She sleeps and naps in it almost all the time. Guess I will need to get another bag when this one wears out.

Took the dogs for a walk this morning. I stopped by the bright butterfly weed to take a few pictures. Oh, and what luck, there was a butterfly on one of them! I started snapping pictures and getting closer and closer. The butterfly didn't move. Maybe it's wings are wet and it is drying? I reached down and touched it. As it fell forward a big yellow spider popped up. The bright colored spider had set a trap, caught the butterfly and was in the middle of eating breakfast when I interrupted.
