A friend gave me a start of Bamboo grass a couple of years ago. Last year it got about knee high but this year it has gone crazy and is as high as the trees. Guess it has been the kind of year it likes.
Zen and Cocoa love to chase each other and play "catch me" until they just fall over. When they do play with each other Cocoa stays under
Zen so she don't get stepped on. They have a lot of fun together considering their different sizes.
The road sides now are lined with the brilliant sunshine yellow of sunflowers and the feathery spikes of minted gold goldenrods.
I enjoyed spending time with my two beautiful granddaughters, Emily and Mary. Emily was Maid of Honor in Mary's wedding.
Jeff and the boys, Nate, Stephen, Andrew and Brian practice the songs they are singing at Mary and Sean's wedding. Nate, Stephen, and Jeff sang "The Love of My Life" and at the end of the ceremony all the boys and Jeff sang "Still The One". They did a great joy, it sounded professional. I'm proud of my boys!
I just got back from the wedding of my Grandaughter, Mary, in Colorado. She was a beautiful bride and had a wonderful wedding. More pictures will follow when they come in from the photographer. I am very happy I got to be a part of it.
Finished up making the pokeberry ink. Here is a quick scribble using it. Love the color. It'll be interesting to see how it changes over time. It smells like wine right now.
