I really enjoyed getting to spend time with my grandkids while in Colorado. Our twins Mary is now married and working on her career and Stephen is now working on his career and seems to be having a lot of fun also. I am so proud of all my six of my grandkids.
These popup storms we have been having produces some pretty sunsets. Every day there are showers all around us but we can't seem to get any rain and we need it desperately.
Don't have any idea why the baby goats decided to line up in a row down the driveway. You just never know what baby goats are going to do next. It's all part of the fun of the farm.
One of the reasons I visited my family in Colorado was the graduation of Andrew from High School. Also while there I got to attend the graduation of our baby in the family Brian from 8th Grade. They grow up way to fast.
Yesterday my long expensive driveway was completed. The water line is in and all that is left for now is the septic system. Then we wait and let the land settle. The cabin actually won't go up until next spring. I am so excited I may pitch a tent down there.
The baby goats love my building site. Its a new thing and they can jump around on it and play. Also the site of the house was staked out with red flags which disappeared as soon as the guy was out of site. Notice the goat on the bottom has a red flag in its mouth. They will be fenced off later but for now they have a new playground.
I have decided to go out on my own. I am building a small house on the farm. The grading is done on the spot where the house will sit. The water line is almost run and the driveway will have gravel in a few days. It's going to be a long process but we have started. I'm excited!
While I was visiting in Colorado Springs I had the opportunity to visit one of my favorite places, the Garden Of The Gods and it was as beautiful and majestic as I remember. Jeff and I had lunch at the Trading Post and then drove around through the park. A wonderful day.
